Sessional for PowerPoint

Keep your slides. Make the room interactive.

Launch Sessional from the PowerPoint ribbon, keep the class connected, and control live classroom activity without leaving the deck.

One class, one source of truth. PowerPoint is a professor controller. Students still respond through Sessional, while roles, groups, scores, submissions and activity history stay attached to the class.

From the ribbon

Open Sessional, start Pulse, build a mixed MCQ/descriptive Test, run Presentation Mode, launch polls, Random Pick/Extempore, groups and assignments, and start scheduled activities.

Presentation Mode

Move through individual or group presenters, collect rubric-based peer feedback and audience questions, score from the professor view, and reveal aggregates when you choose. Peer contribution is 0% by default unless the professor explicitly changes it.

Slides that stay connected

On supported PowerPoint versions, Sessional can add tagged activity slides to the deck and update live response status while the add-in is open. If slide insertion is unavailable, the classroom activity still runs normally.

Institution-ready

The add-in respects the same owner and co-professor controls as Sessional. A student account cannot gain professor access by installing the add-in.
