AI, as in Answer Integrity.
Answer Integrity records writing and assessment signals without pretending to prove whether a response was generated by AI.
Why not an AI detector?
Text-only AI detection is unreliable, especially when a student manually types an answer from another device. Sessional reports evidence instead of making an accusation.
Fullscreen integrity mode
For stricter tests, professors can require fullscreen and flag tab changes, browser minimising, fullscreen exits, copy attempts and restricted shortcuts.
Professor review, not automatic punishment
Signals are displayed as normal, some signals or review suggested. The professor decides whether a response needs follow-up.
Questions people ask
Can a normal website block screenshots?
No. Browser-based software cannot reliably block operating-system screenshots or a second phone camera. Sessional instead uses controlled fullscreen, focus flags, randomised forms and identity-linked attempt history.
Does Answer Integrity use an AI model?
No. The core integrity signals can be calculated deterministically in the browser and stored with the attempt.
Does a pasted answer automatically mean cheating?
No. Paste activity is one signal and should be interpreted with context.
